Understanding Jacks or Better Pay Tables
Just as important as learning some basic Jacks or Better strategy is understanding how to read the pay tables and why some are better than others. All of them clearly can illustrate why playing 5 coins is so much better than playing anything less. If you look at one of the tables, you will see that for most hands, the payouts increase incrementally for each coin. For instance, a pair of Jacks or better is worth 1 for one coin, 2 for two coins, and so on. Each of the hands works just like this, except the Royal Flush. It pays 250 for one coin, doubles to 500 for two coins, 750 for three coins and 1000 for four coins. Each coin adds 250 to the payout. Then at five coins, it is multiplied by 4, going to 4000 coins for a jackpot win. That’s a huge difference and why we always recommend playing 5 coins on a Jacks or Better machine. Please take a look at some typical pay tables above.
The top paying sites use the 9/6 payout table exactly like Ladbrokes Casino. Specifically we are going to look at Full Houses and Flushes, as the payouts for all other hands are the same at almost all casinos. Ladbrokes pays 45 coins for a Full House (assuming you play 5 coins per deal) and 30 coins for a Full House. As you will see, this is better than many other casinos, and is why we highly recommend Ladbrokes Casino for Jacks or Better video poker. Other great sites using this preferred payout include bet365, Ladbrokes, Silver Oak, Titan Casino and Diceland.
